Why this is safe for your books.

Your data.

It’s encrypted on the way in and on disk. The key is not on the same disk as the files. You get your own tenant. Your agent can write; it cannot run the box. The hosted nest is in the U.S. We don’t run ads on this and we don’t sell it. JayBase, Magpie, and Martin are on GitHub. Hosted Avian Suite is closed source. Two honest limits: a writer we let in can still add a wrong fact, and if someone breaks into the host they can reach the key.

The agent.

JayBase only adds. We can’t rewrite or delete history through the hosted API. A fix is a new line, so you can see what changed. A stale write gets rejected. Magpie won’t post a book that doesn’t balance, and it reverses instead of editing. Martin archives or merges. It doesn’t delete and it doesn’t send email. Both write the same JayBase. You stay in chat.
