Answers / Your data

What happens to your data if AvianSuite goes away?

You keep it, and you can keep running it. AvianSuite is the hosted version of Stellar Jay, an open-source store, so your data and the software that reads it never depend on us.

Export at any time

A signed-in owner can download the store from Account → Export data. The zip holds:

stellarjay/dataEvery event in the store's history, not only the current values.
stellarjay/secrets/data_keyThe key that decrypts the events, so the export is readable without us.
stellarjay/secrets/auth.jsonCredential hashes. Plaintext agent tokens are left out; mint new ones after a restore.
aviansuite/projection.jsonThe current state as JSON, for importing into any other tool.

Run it yourself

Stellar Jay is open source (AGPL-3.0-or-later) and written in Go. Point a self-hosted Stellar Jay at the exported files and the same MCP tools work over stdio with stellarjay-mcp. Self-hosting is free. Self-hosted setup.

Using hosted AvianSuite, or running Stellar Jay for your own company, puts no license obligations on your own code.

If you cancel

Writes stop and you keep 7 days of read-only access to download your export. After that the store is deleted. You can export as often as you like before then, too.
